From one of our six air conditioned rooms you can either sit and relax on your own screened in private veranda and enjoy the quiet river jungle setting or go out and experience all there is to see and do. The main building has a lobby, restaurant, bar (beer and wine), wrap around screened in veranda, swimming pool, and an air conditioned interior (with satellite TV). The area provides many unique land and sea adventures, including: SCUBA diving/snorkeling, jungle hiking, canoeing/kayaking, exploring caves and Mayan ruins, fishing, and birding. Check out our 'What to Do' page for more information on some of the things Belize has to offer you while staying at River House Lodge. While staying in our 'Terrace' or 'Veranda' furnished rooms you can arrange for meal service at the lodge. You can also cook your own meals in the kitchenettes of the 'Terrace' rooms. Otherwise, there are several eating establishments, two small grocery stores and two internet cafe's nearby. Rental bikes and a local taxi service are available to help you get around on land.
