It might be a gibnut, or a fox crossing your path, or a butterfly so stunning that you are stopped in your tracks, mesmerized by the beauty, and the moment. Later, on another walk, your experience will be new and different. It might be a flock of parrots squawking as they pass overhead, or a dragonfly that actually holds still while you capture its shape and color on film. It might be a spider that dwarfs any you have ever seen, or it might be a section of path covered with flower petals that have fallen from far up in the jungle canopy. At night, listen, as the birds, frogs, and insects create a combination of sounds that drift into your room from the water edge. In the morning, it will be the sounds of the howler monkeys that greet you as you start a new day. |
